A new opportunity now exists for a Business Development Manager to join this leading international law firm who are renowned for their commercial litigation, dispute resolution, insurance and reinsurance work. They are ideally looking for an individual who wishes to step up into a manager role and assume more responsibility within the areas of business and client development, working to drive through new practice and firm-wide programmes.
Responsibilities will include:
· Project managing the pursuit of new business opportunities
· Day to day co-ordination of key client initiatives, attending client meeting in an advisory capacity and supporting client teams with planning, research and analysis
· Working with fee earners to advise on the development of new service and business lines in response to market opportunities
· Market, sector and competitor analysis to support focused business development and targeting initiatives
Requirements:
· Business Development or marketing experience gained from within a professional services environment
· A thorough understanding of the business development /sales and tendering process within a professional services firm
· Resilient and able to deal with people at all levels with an open and articulate communication style
· Hard-working and able to work on own initiative, possessed of attention to detail, diplomacy and flexibility
