This law firm is a global leader, with an unrivalled scale and depth of legal resources across the three key markets of the Americas, Asia and Europe. They now have an opportunity for an experienced professional services proposals specialist to join the business development team for the Corporate practice, on a 10 month fixed term contract. Reporting to the Global Head of Corporate Business Development and with the support of two proposal executives, you will:

· Work with partners on specific client and new business development opportunities, providing advice and taking responsibility for the project management of sales pursuits
· Manage the workload and performance of the proposal group and contribute to team development
· Identify and implement plans to increase efficiency of the proposal process and explore methods of continually differentiating the practice in the market
· Take responsibility for developing and implementing client sector-specific business development strategies

Ideally, you will have extensive experience of working on competitive proposals and pitches from within a professional service environment and will be able to start in October/November 08. In addition, you will be adept at developing sector and client propositions, possessing an intelligent and pragmatic approach to your work. The ability to think strategically and challenge established thinking in a consultative and persuasive manner is also required.
