Job Description

Database Marketing Executive

Leading membership body requires a Database Marketing Executive to manage the existing membership database and drive forward profitable database management strategies

Main Responsibilities

Create and develop a coherent and actionable data strategy
Create and develop the strategy and plan for customer data collection and oversee its ongoing implementation
Ensure data integrity across the organisation by creating, defining and implementing data standards
Provide expert advice on Data Protection and ensure organisation-wide compliance
Work closely with internal departments to ensure effective policies are in place covering data standards
Develop and define effective processes for data cleansing and deduplication with input from key stakeholders
Develop, and oversee implementation of, a data migration strategy
Ensure data capture points are DPA compliant

Key Requirements

Educated to degree level or equivalent with relevant work experience in a data driven environment
Experience of developing and driving data strategies
Experience of working in a multi-functional organisation
Ability to identify problems
Strong analytical problem solver
Confident communicator
Proven ability to develop procedures
Strong analytical ability
An in depth understanding of the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, both verbally and in writing
