Online Marketing Communications Executive / eCommunications Executive

We are seeking an Online Marketing Communications / eCommunications Executive to take on sole responsibility for operational management of all end to end email marketing activity and website optimisation strategies. Possessing strength of character, professionalism and excellent stakeholder management skills, you will have a very strong grasp of data management and the ability to use data to tailor campaigns in an innovative way.
This is a challenging role that will see you working on various e-communication campaigns. Your main responsibilities will include:
Assisting the Web & eCommunications Manager in the ongoing review and development of a long-term e-newsletter, email marketing and website optimisation, including PPC (Pay Per Click) strategy that supports the broader business objectives with regards to target markets and key segments.
Work with other members of the marketing team, and the wider business, with regards to data analysis and performance in view of target markets.
Identify and drive through tactical initiatives to ensure that the e-newsletters deliver required metrics wherever possible.
Act in a consultative manner to the rest of the business, assisting managers who wish to undertake e-marketing and email marketing activity, whilst ensuring requests are alighned with the overall eCommunications strategy.
Work directly with the Marketing Services Manager to build a well planned calendar of tactical e-shots, managing the design and delivery stage, and providing insightful feedback and analysis on performance.
Manage the relationship with an external e-mail marketing agency in regards to scheduled broadcasts and campaign management to ensure that our e-communications are fully optimised.
Develop an appropriate eCRM strategy that capitalises on the customer information held by the business and identifies ways in which this can be developed and used to best effect.
Ensure that the two-way transfer of data between the ESP and Business Link In London data integrity team is managed in an appropriate and timely manner.
Demonstrate commitment to upholding and representing BLiLs diversity, equal opportunity and inclusion policies/agenda in all business and client dealings.
Skills & Experience:
Proven strategic and practical awareness of website and search engine optimisation strategies that provide value for money and return on investment.
Sound editorial experience gained over several years, combined with an excellent eye for editorial detail.
Well-honed skills in writing creatively about complex subject matter and able to produce timely pieces of content to deadline.
Proven practical experience in use of Content Management Systems in a web environment.
Practical experience of working with public sector departments; familiarity with processes within the public sector or local authority would be a distinct advantage.
Thorough understanding and practical experience of website information architecture, customer-centric design, content writing for the web, e-marketing and web optimisation.
Awareness of project management principles with the ability to deliver to demanding deadlines.
Experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders, enthusing and engaging others to contribute valuable and worthwhile web content.
