Research Consultant (RE to SRE) Public Sector Team up to £29k
Salary: £21,000 - £29,000 (depending on experience)
Location: The City
Our client is a long established independent Market Research Company and have built reputation on thoughtful and creative research, providing tailored research solutions to meet the needs of specific clients. They are renowned for delivering high quality research that helps to evaluate and shape national policies in all key areas of the Public Sector. Their client list is unrivalled.
They are now looking for an enthusiastic and experienced market researcher to join their growing public sector team.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven track record in market research (preferably agency side but not essential)
- Degree level or equivalent
- Ideally experience, and at least interest, in the Public Sector / Social research
- Flexible approach to work, able to manage several tasks concurrently, work under pressure and react positively as requirements change.
- Must be highly numerate, with an eye for detail
- Creativity in approach to problem solving
- Energy, enthusiasm and a desire to succeed
- Good interpersonal skills and a team player
- Good MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
Main Responsibilities:
- Act as first point of client contact on jobs, keeping clients and project directors in close touch with project progress and any problems arising
- Develop and maintain a professional, proactive relationship with clients with a view to forming long term alliances
- Design questionnaires which will satisfy the needs of the client, the interviewer, and the data analysis team
- Conduct interviewer briefings
- Monitor daily fieldwork
- Define sampling and coding specifications
- Produce high quality analysis specifications
- Ensure accurate data outputs
- Help produce insightful reports and presentations
- Good MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
