Leading Birmingham based Manfacturing business based in Birmingham is looking to appoint the brand new role of Head of Marketing.

My Client requires a Head of Marketing to build and deliver a solid marketing and brand strategy. They will be responsible for preparing and implementing the companys marketing plans in order to maximise business returns in its several core Divisions.
The job holder will report directly to the Managing Director.
Responsibilities will include:- oIdentification and evaluation of target markets and development of effective strategies to communicate to them oExecute creative communication campaigns which will positively influence strategies, contractors, distributors and installers oTogether with the General Managers and sales teams manage the marketing mix oResearch and report on new product opportunities oDevelop new products in conjunction with the General Managers and sales teams oMarket analysis to support the innovation process oDevelop and prepare the marketing plan and strategy oManage and brief all external marketing agencies oSupport and deliver the sales plans oDevelop annual marketing plans in conjunction with the sales departments. This should detail the years activity to meet agreed Divisional objectives
Who are we looking for
The successful candidate will have:- oDegree qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional qualification oManagement experience in a marketing role preferably within a construction products/engineering and manufacturing related environment oTeam, service and customer orientated oExcellent organisation and planning skills oAbility to prioritise, delegate and multi-task oProven track record in delivering measurable results oBe hands-on with the ability to think, act and work creatively oComprehensive experience of the marketing mix, including brand planning, advertising and media, digital and new product development from idea, research, to implementation oStrong communicator both written and spoken oExcellent computer skills and awareness of social media and communications technology oGood general interest in, and awareness of, business and corporate responsibility issues. with proven ability
