Marketing Communications Manager Our client is a top 50 UK firm with the professional services arena. Due to exciting growth within their business support they are now seeking a highly experienced Marketing Communications manager to join their dynamic team.Reporting to the Marketing Director of a top 50 law firm, you will be part of a dynamic expanding team and will be the main point of contact for all marketing communications and branding queries and projects within the firm. This is no ordinary marketing communications role rather a superb opportunity to create and define your own future within an extremely successful organisation. You will be educated to degree level with at least 5-7 years experience in a similar role with ideally some time spent in a professional services environment. In your previous roles you will have developed supervisory skills and a wide-ranging knowledge of the design and print production process and familiarity with digital media channels and tools. We particularly want to hear from applicants with post-graduate qualifications such as the CIM diploma.The team you will be part of includes the full range of commercial and communications skills: business development advisers, hospitality executives and communications executives to name but a few, you will be the main point of contact for all marketing communications and branding queries and projects within the firm and will also have responsibility for the appointment and management of external agencies and suppliers to deliver communications and branding projects.The operational span of the role includes responsibility for above the line communications: printed materials, PR and advertising. A key element of the role is liaising with the digital marketing manager (DMM) to ensure that our clients brand and communications strategy is translated into a format appropriate for these media channels.Your key responsibilities will include: The online and offline marketing communications and full brand management and development strategy Our clients brand story and standards and keeping the marketing team and firm updated on appropriate execution Our clients external image through PR, including online and social media Advertising, internal communications in conjunction with the HR team and managing and senior partnerˇ Management and execution of all communications materialsˇ Management of the firms external image through PR, online and social mediaˇ Management of advertising in press and other above the line media. Line management of the communications executive, providing advice, guidance and feedback as needed in conjunction with the DMM. Ensure that training and development needs are identified and appropriate steps in place to address them. Conduct annual (and six-monthly if required) reviews. It is essential that you are: Educated to degree level and have CIPR/CIM post graduate qualifications At least 5- 7 years post graduation marketing and PR experience, with professional services experience Wide ranging knowledge of the design and print production process and familiarity with digital media channels and tools. Have commercial acumen: understanding of our business and clients / prospective targets businesses and their industries and appropriate communication media A level head with good communication skills and the ability to inform and influence at all levels Project management of communications from initial concept to delivery Confidence in principles of good design Confidence in the principles and practice of effective copywriting Understanding the communications media available to law firms and the advantages and disadvantages associated with them Development and management of brand identity A strong understanding of the PR and Marketing processes relevant to the legal industry
