Marketing Manager / Senior Marketing Executive - Proposals
London W1
£40,000 - £45,000

Our client provides representative and corporate services to overseas companies. They are currently looking to recruit a Marketing Manager / Senior Marketing Executive to join the team. The role is within a small unit providing administrative support to international consulting programmes on behalf of its clients, particularly those focusing on security related services for governmental clients.

Reporting to the director, the Marketing Manager / Senior Marketing Executive will manage the company's entire marketing function. You will also:

- Produce and proof-write presentations in PPT and brochure format
- Contribute to and polish the presentation of proposals, bid submissions and reports to existing customers
- Develop marketing material and briefings
- Generate a regular internal newsletter, including formatting for online circulation and managing contributions and content
- Organise conference and events attendances
- Updating of the company's website in association with the web design team
- Ensure corporate style is consistent across all products

To perform these tasks, the Marketing Manager / Senior Marketing Executive will require solid previous marketing experience. Ideally this will have been gained within the defence or a related sector, though this is not essential. The person will require excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, and will work closely not only with others in the office but also with personnel working abroad and customer representatives. In addition, you will hold the following key attributes:

- Ability to think creatively but convey message in programme-specific language
- Excellent planning and organising skills
- Computer literacy, especially MS Office
- Excellent problem solving abilities
- Ability to work in a discreet and tactful manner
- A good attention to detail, with ability to work under your own initiative
- Focused on the task until completion
