BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CO-ORDINATOR - Exeter, Devon
A leading accountancy firm based in Exeter is currently recruiting for a Business Development Co-Ordinator to work alongside the marketing manager. The role is initially a 12 month contract with the opportunity of a permanent position following.
The successful candidate will assist the Marketing Manager in delivering a pro-active, efficient and effective business development support service to the firm.
Regular duties include,
- Assisting the Marketing Manager in coordination of information relating to Business Development activities.
- Centrally coordinating the firms contact database
- Co-ordinating and produce the Managing Partners Monthly Bulletin.
- Supporting the implementation of all client development (cross selling) programmes.
- Working with and supporting the Marketing Manager to deliver on the business development plans through the coordination of specific business development campaigns and projects
- Attending business development meetings with the Marketing Manager and producing action points and post meeting notes.
The incumbent will be an excellent communicator with the ability to liaise with people at all levels including partners and clients. A similar role within business development and a good understanding of MS packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is preferable.
It is essential that candidates come from a professional/financial services environment and be studying, or willing to study towards CIM or equivalent.
