Job Description

Digital Marketing Manager 

Nottingham / Mansfield

Digital is one of E.ONs key strategic levers to deliver the 2020 vision. The newly formed department has sole responsibility of the company-wide digital agendas creation, implementation and management.

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to develop, lead, and manage the online marketing communications and acquisition activity plan and digital media buying for all Business Units across EES.

Some of the Key Activities:  

Drive online brand awareness and ensure maximum efficiency of digital marketing budgets, reach of voice, and traffic to the digital websites (core website, micro-sites, mobile) in order to drive online sales and self-service conversions, on-going customer communication and upsell.

Drive E.ONs marketing tailored for the digital platform.  

Define and manage online Affiliate Partnership approach, spend and relationship management to secure additional online sales.

Leading and developing the team.

Drive online marketing activity best practice across the organisation.

Key skill requirements:

Essential Skills

Experience within Digital Marketing across core activities (SEM, PPC, Affiliates, email, partner networks, comparison site forums, etc).

Track record delivering strong ROI on digital online activity spends.

Strong understanding of the digital landscape- major players, trends, economics.

Good experience and understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements in Digital.

Experience in Google Analytics and Web Trends.

Good understanding of different types digital content and best methods to define search activity to promote them.

Familiarity with brand marketing websites.

Experience with email marketing development and deployment.
