Job Description

Reporting to the Marketing Controller, you'll have complete responsibility for all aspects of the marketing mix. There will be a strong emphasis on NPD, maintaining a regular flow of new product launches to ensure profitable growth of the business, and you will budget for and execute above and below the line spends.

This is a key senior position within the company and we are looking for someone who can take ownership of the product portfolio and drive the business forward with passion and drive. You'll be operating in a pragmatic business environment, free from red tape or bureaucracy, that is prepared to give you the autonomy and decision making power you need to achieve your objectives.

Travel to the Far East one or more times a year will be required, as you will need to develop strong relationships with key suppliers and assess potential new suppliers.

Of graduate calibre, you'll have a strong track record in product management. An Assistant Product Manager reports to the position, so previous people management experience will be an asset to ensure you maximise this resource and develop their skills. Experience of the decorative market is desirable although not essential, but a hands-on, go-getting approach is vital as you will be championing your projects and strategy up to managing director level.
