Job Description

Position: PROGRAMME MANAGER
Location: North Leeds, Yorkshire
Salary: £40k+ per annum + package

My client are a global leader in the innovation, design and build of special purpose machinery for Oil & Gas, Power generation and FMCG sectors.

The position of PROGRAMME MANAGER.

The Programme Manager will be working with many departments within the business with an ultimate goal of ensuring Projects are delivered on time, within budget, whilst enhancing the brand of the business to customers.

The ideal candidate will already be in a Project Management role and be striving to move onto their next challenge.

Role:

1) Defining projects scopes, milestones and deliverables that support project goals in collaboration with senior management and the customer.

2) Direct and manage project development from beginning to end using appropriate tools to deliver in an efficient, effective coordinated manner.

3) Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.

4) Monitor ongoing project costs and measure against budgets, recommend subsequent changes where necessary.

5) Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirement documentions and presentations to management and customers.

6) Proactively manage changes in Project scope, identify potential delays, and devise contingency plans, notify relevant personnel and stakeholders of change to resources and additional costs.

Skills:

Ideally degree, HNC,HND qualified within engineering/manufacturing.
Formal Project Management training such as PRINCE2.
Experience with Project Management software
Leadership qualities, team ethos and someone who has innovative thought process.
