As result of planned strategic growth, an excellent opportunity has emerged for a Channel Director who will be responsible for developing and optimising their Channel Marketing function, which consists of a range of "non-field based" channels including online e-business, direct / e-marketing, telemarketing, events and partnerships and the Data team, which consists of data acquisition, data analytics, cleansing and maintenance.
Reporting to the Commercial Director you will Act in a "general manager" capacity and will required to lead the strategic direction of the function, lead the management team, take an active role as coach and mentor and the influencing of key stakeholders in the business including (but not limited to); strategic marketing, content, product development and technology teams. Working with the "Commercial Management" management team you will deliver the go to market strategy for each customer group. Responsibilities include devising and coordinating market and product penetration plans, leading and managing the team, and influencing and managing stakeholders on all delivery programs.
A highly seasoned marketer with a strong commercial background, you will be able to demonstrate where and how you have driven successful direct marketing channels. With exceptional attention to detail (particularly in the management of key metrics) it is essential that you proactively measure and drive performance. It also critical that you have a considerable depth of knowledge in web and online marketing.
