The Role 
Responsibilities include:

- Develop internal relationships with sector champions and specialists and improve the sharing of project work, research & development, creative ideas and innovations.
- Develop the practice's relationships with the media, professional organisations, academic institutions and key architectural practices Understand and communicate our themes to the media and further afield.
- Develop new methods and tools for collating and disseminating our awards entries and wins, articles, events, papers, publications. Person Specification

You will have confidence in dealing with a challenging mix of internal and external communication; and able to focus on getting this established engineering practice better known. You will have the proven experience to help to build awareness and relationships in newer markets, and encourage engineers across four European offices to share their ideas.

You will be able to identify opportunities for publicity, undertake research and build relationships both from the industry and further afield, and draw on the practice's wide range of experience and expertise to deliver targeted marketing plans. At the same time, you will be able to see the wider commercial picture and drive continuous improvement in communication across a large practice.

You must be a confident self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team in an unstructured and flexible environment.
You will need to be educated to degree level, and have proven ability and experience across a broad spectrum of marketing techniques [including relationship marketing] and proven experience of writing or editing technical content.
