An international law firm is seeking a committed and forward thinking individual for the role of senior events executive to work within their London office.
The incumbent will be reporting to the head of business development and will be managing all client seminars and events, liaising with all practice areas.
Daily duties include;
- consulting with heads of practice areas to establish content for events plans
- coordinating client seminars of which there are roughly 30 per year
- developing 2 to 3 major external client events per year
- researching venues and themes for client events
- managing the client database
- collating major national event information for entertaining and conferences
- conducting competitor tracking and analysis
- uploading and preparing all event information on website and intranet
- liaising with the communications team for publicity opportunities and news stories
- being the first point of contact for communication for all external suppliers for the firms events
The successful candidate must have previous experience in an events role within the legal services industry, events coordination experience in a professional services environment and ideally within a law firm. The post holder must be able to build internal relationships with partners and should be educated to degree level.
