Job Description

My client is one of the largest professional membership body, with their headquarters based in central London.

They are currently looking to recruit an interim Senior Marketing Executive with an immediate start.

The jobholder will be responsible for supporting the Senior Marketing Manager in all aspects and channels of marketing.

Job Responsibilities

1. Support the development, management and delivery of externally focussed strategy that is capable of engaging, influencing and building advocates

2. Liaise and help develop the links throughout the business to this agenda and manage joining up of this effectively, creating a set of internal operating protocols and communication systems

3. contribute with ideas for new channels to market and improvements of current activities

4. Liaise with conference and exhibition marketers to ensure cross promotional opportunities are maximised

5. Analyse, evaluate and report on activities using standard measurement criteria and systems

6. Database management and segmentation

7. End to end campaign management

8. Website management

9. PR and media liaison

Criteria

• Holds a degree and/or has completed a diploma in Marketing (CIM/IDM)
• Strong copy-writing skills with the ability to write interesting, benefit-led marketing copy
• Very organised in their work - capable of working across several projects and managing time effectively
• Able to develop and maintain excellent personal relationships with other team members
• Understands return on investment, cost and revenue figures and forecast
• Strong analytical skills - shows potential to be able to weigh up the pros and cons of various alternatives and exercise good judgement in decision making
• Excellent attention to detail
• Numerate - a good head for figures
• Confidence with IT
• Enthusiastic and has the initiative, ambition and commitment to succeed
