Job Description

The opportunity. This is a key new role in the business. As Customer Marketing Manager, CRM you will be focussed on increasing the companys consumer base and maximising revenues through repeat business, as well as enhancing the customers experience at all points of contact within the organisation. You will take responsibility for the planning and implementation of a clear CRM strategy designed to achieve these goals and for ensuring the business has a clear picture of its customers and the ability to target and communicate with them effectively.

The company. CPL Industries is a highly successful £120m turnover privately owned business involved in manufacturing and distribution in the consumer goods sector. We have exciting plans in redefining customer interaction to maximise business and improve customer communication. We now need someone with experience in understanding customer data and how to analyse and interpret it and develop a new CRM based marketing strategy.

So do you have..?

  • Strong experience of applying customer insight to CRM-based marketing, ideally within a B2C consumer goods field, or alternatively B2B.
  • Experience of in-depth customer data collection, analysis techniques and market research.
  • Experience running incentive, reward and upsales mechanisms.
  • Direct Marketing skills.
  • A background of working within a customer/call-centre management environment, as well as web-based experience.
  • The ability to think commercially and strategically in developing a clear insight for the CRM programme.
  • Experience that will equip you to develop loyalty and new member programmes, such as member-get-member and sign-up incentive schemes.
  • The ability to implement campaigns effectively.
  • Experience of technology based communications systems and how they can be effectively utilised to access and convert consumers into regular customers.
  • The ability to develop strategic communication plans using data gathered on mailing results, customer behaviour and segmentation.
