Account Excutive x 2 - £16-£18k pa
Locations: Godalming, Surrey and London (Holborn)
1 to 2 years experience in a PR and/or marketing environment are a must. Agency experience will be an advantage.
THE COMPANY:
Established for over 10 year this leading strategic communications consultancy specialises in property, regeneration and built environment. The client base include many of the leading groups in the property sector, alongside a growing number of private/public development partnerships.
With offices in Central London and Surrey they undertakes corporate PR, pre-planning stakeholder consultation on major retail and mixed use regeneration schemes, together with the full range of communication services for development on site and post launch.
GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Account Executive is responsible for supporting the Account Manager on the day to day running of client accounts. Duties range from basic administration to assisting in the management of specific projects, such as the organisation of press events and public exhibitions, in order to secure maximum press coverage for their clients. The Account Executive must also work effectively with the Account Manager to ensure that all client activities are undertaken within the agreed timescale.
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build relationships with day to day client contacts
Provide regular client interaction (telephone updates, meetings and preparing agendas)
Produce accurate press material, case studies, briefing documents and client reports
Develop a full understanding of PR practices
Develop a good knowledge of all key media and maintain an awareness of industry issues
Build relationships with Journalists to establish opportunities for coverage.
Contribute ideas to the creative development of client programmes
Research and update media lists on an ongoing basis, research forward features and ascertain correct information for features
Prepare media evaluations, collating and circulating press coverage
Organise press events
Support PR team on a day to day basis
1.12 Taking minutes at client meetings
COMPANY RESPONSIBILITIES:
New Business Development (research skills and ideas)
Monitor any client related issues/problems and report to senior team members
Provide support to senior PR staff
Participate in company meetings/initiatives/brainstorms etc
Adhere to all company policies/procedures (timesheets etc)
Work cooperatively and proactively with team and third parties to ensure high level of service to clients
