Working for one of Oxfordshire's leading Publishing houses, this role presents an excellent opportunity for a highly organised Marketing Communications Manager to work on a high profile and challenging portfolio of journals.
Although by no means conclusive, your responsibilities will include:
·Preparing annual Marketing Communications Plans for the assigned journal portfolios;
·Developing their extensive author and editor networks
·Building strong journal brands and developing marketing relationships with their society publishing partners
·Analysing and reporting on the success of marketing activities and;
·Writing attractive and unique copy where necessary.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, you should have a strong base of experience in a marketing environment. This does not necessarily have to have been in a publishing environment but any knowledge of electronic marketing techniques is desirable.
On the job training is provided and study towards professional marketing qualifications is supported where appropriate. Some international travel will be required.
