Our client is a world leading organisation dealing with some very high profile clients. The team is friendly and sociable, and are based in modern, well-equipped offices in Oxford, where there is ample parking.
They are currently looking for a Team Leader to join their Design Team in order to support the Global Design Team Manager in the daily running of the team and designing, coordinating and managing the delivery of multi-country projects. Key responsibilities will involve:
ˇManaging and supporting a designated number of direct reports to ensure good productivity and quality of work;
ˇSharing knowledge and experience with team members, notably direct reports, to help them develop the necessary technical skills to deliver the most appropriate products for clients;
ˇEstablishing all relevant documentation both externally for the client and internally to ease transition of certain projects;
ˇDeveloping good relationships with clients and other offices to ensure that the needs of the client are always met;
ˇDeveloping the necessary technical skills to deliver the most effective product to clients.
The ideal candidate for this position will possess proven people management skills, and will be very client focussed. You will have excellent project management and communication skills. Cultural sensitivity is an important element of this role, as you will be dealing with many different countries.
Excellent MS software skills are essential, and you should be detail-focussed, with the drive to ensure that all project milestones are delivered to agreed timescales.
