A leading Marketing Agency specialising in data and CRM has an excellent opportunity for an Account Director to join their Client Service team
The successful candidate will work under theguidance of the Client Services Director and that full responsibility for the development & profitability of one or more clients for the operational day-to-day running of client accounts.
Responsibilities * To develop an annual plan for each client & to manage the account to meet these goals * To work pro-actively and in a challenging fashion with senior members of a clients team to help develop their business. * To co-ordinate all jobs / activities in progress for a client, whilst taking responsibility for the management and delivery of certain key initiatives * To involve as necessary (in order to meet client objectives) additional personnel (e.g. Business Development and Consultancy teams) * To forecast and report on client revenue and profitability * To support and manage junior members of the client team, with specific responsibility for the day to day workload of Account Managers and Account Executives * To hold internal and external client reviews on a quarterly basis.
Key skills required:
* Extensive experience working in a Databasemarketing and CRM environment * Strong experince in a strategic role * Data Literate and working knowledge of marketing systems and technologies * Strong commercial awareness and business acumen * Experience working in a client facing role * Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills * Fantastic leader, excellent people management skills and excellent communication abilities
This is an excellent opportunity for a person with strong experience in a more strategic role than a traditional operational role.
