Communications and PR Manager
Location; Crowthorne, Berkshire
Salary; Circa £25k to £28k DOE
Our client based in Crowthorne is looking for a Communications and PR Manager to lead the PR and Press function, developing and implementing the Communications strategy.
Responsibilities will include:
Manage media relations, developing strong links with press contacts
Initiate and maximize PR and media opportunities
Develop awareness of the company to the media and general public
Expand and strengthen the companys case studies portfolio
Optimise income through donor development, by initiating and contributing to marketing campaigns, in conjunction with the Database Manager
Develop marketing and promotional initiatives
Market and promote the companys events
Identify and implement ways in which to enhance internal communications
Manage and develop the website
Liaise with all functions within the company, in particular key members of the Fundraising team
Manage the Communications team
Manage the allocated budget for Communications and PR
Experience and Skills required:
Previous experience within a PR or communications role
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to skillfully negotiate and influence others, and build good working relationships internally and externally
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Efficient IT skills, including knowledge of website management
Adaptability openness to new ideas and ability to prioritise conflicting demands
Positive disposition, demonstrating self motivation
