This position is responsible for product line management of products across Europe. The product manager will gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and customer service to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are for this product met.

The Product Manager's position job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.

About the Role

Provide European sales regions with all necessary product related information for product launches and product upgrades following the New Product Introduction guidelines and ensure excellent product and solution proposition in the regions.

Monitor and report different market segments and report market intelligence in quarterly overviews.

Ensure full overview of wider company and competitive market share position of the various Line of Businesses.

Provide from time to time but at least ½ yearly detailed product evaluations to product development in the Head Quarters, USA.

The position will be accountable for initiating, driving and supporting European marketing solution programs and promotions in different market segments.

Organize and execute product training where necessary in the regions.

On request from and in agreement with the director of marketing manage ad hock projects necessary for the business in Europe.

Responsible for the creation and education (in English) of product launch documentation.

The Line of Business Product Manager operates and reports as a member of the European Product Marketing team to the European marketing director. As required, the Product Manager will undertake roles & responsibilities within this team.

The following key result areas are part of the annual business metrics for this position.

Regional sales and marketing product knowledge

Collection and reporting of market Intelligence

New Products Sales success

Product introductions, training, document creation and marketing support

Assistance with establishing product managerial processes between factory and European organization

Internal and external product satisfaction.

 What We're Looking For

Essential:

Understand the different Line of business in general and for specific projects -as provided by the Director of Marketing. Have know how of competitive solutions in the market for insertion and transactional business solutions.

Product management experience in European countries.

Demonstrated ability to drive business success in an environment where there is a strong emphasis on developing new business with a project approach.

Excellent interpersonal skills, including experience of dealing with sales and marketing management and different functional departments such as service.
Good presentation skills.
Reliable and able to take full project responsibility and ownership of projects with a strong drive to complete assignments.

Team player in order to work well with other members of the marketing team
