Our client is the fastest growing B2B communication vehicle in the UK Electrical Industry. They run a suite of communication media including Internet portals and websites, electronic newsletters and, now, a captive audience TV network. Building on its online communication expertise, they are now developing a business unit to provide multimedia services to its existing client base. An opportunity has now arisen for a high calibre Multimedia Key Account Manager / Business Development Manager to join their team.
This is the ideal role for an experienced Account Manager with excellent creative skills to play a key role. Not only will you be handling campaigns across a variety of media including their new captive audience TV network, but you’ll be selling these exciting campaigns to an existing client base which will not require any cold calling.
As a Multimedia Key Account Manager / Business Development Manager you will be responsible for helping to build our client’s multi-media service business by selling the company’s services and developing new services for existing blue chip clients who are manufacturers of electrical installation products or companies operating within the electrical sector.
In this key role your duties will include:
- developing the company’s new TV@Point of Sale Business
- developing the current portfolio of online multimedia services and adding new services to it
- account managing blue chip clients
- briefing the creative team on the requirements of the client and working with them to deliver the end product/service
- setting up an appropriate administration process to deal with client orders and invoicing
- creating a KPI reporting structure for clients to measure campaign success
To succeed as the Multimedia Key Account Manager / Business Development Manager you must have previous experience within account management and sales, preferably within the marketing sector. You will also need experience of, or the ability to effectively manage multimedia marketing campaigns.
This role also requires your proven negotiation, leadership and analytical skills, along with the ability to influence key individuals. You will also need to demonstrate excellent process management skills, and you must be a team player who will relish the challenge this position offers.
