Job Description

Urgent 6 month maternity care cover required from an experienced Marketing manager based in-house in Ipswich. The company is one of four major businesses part of a massive group opening in the industrial sector.

The company specialises in industrial maintenance products and has a network of dealerships nationwide. They need support form a Marketing Manager for 6 months and responsibilities are as follows:

·Be responsible for the Company's Marketing and PR function for all product groups in all sectors
·Formulate, present, agree and implement an annual Marketing Strategy for the International Operation
·These activities are to include press advertising, literature creation and circulation, mailshotting, general editorial, general PR work, sponsorship, parts marketing activities, press liaison, etc.
·To be responsible for internal communications jointly with the Human Resources department, both within the Ipswich facility and with local press. This needs to ensure that the Company workforce are kept fully aware of the Company's message and aims
·Initiate new Marketing concepts for the International operation to create new ideas for the promotion of product to existing and new target markets
·Co-ordinate the Marketing Strategy for each Dealer/Distributor account in conjunction with the local Sales Manager to ensure each account has an agreed action plan for product promotion
·Initiate and organise, in conjunction with the Sales Managers, Press Days, Open Days, Roadshows and Exhibitions
·Collate and utilise a database of actual and potential customers and initiate a mailshotting programme that targets specific market sectors on a regular basis
·Produce RJ Today annually to provide an update on products, people and general activities within the Company and ensure all internal staff and customers are kept fully informed of all Marketing activities
·Generate on a monthly basis an interesting and informative E-Newsletter to be issued on the second` week of each month. In addition, grow the circulation list on a month-by-month basis
·Ensure we receive maximum exposure of the Company's name and product range through as many diverse methods as possible that conform to the Textron Business Ethics guidelines
·To generate a range of Point of Sale equipment and offer to the distribution network
·To perform all tasks for the International Operation that may be requested from time to time
·Ensure that all Marketing costs incurred are within the constraints of the annual budget/forecast
