Job Description

Managing a smallteam, this is a great opportunity for an experienced Internal Communications professional with experience of a broad ranging brief focussing on developing, implementing and delivering clear communications and employee engagement in line with the overall internal communications strategy.

The main purpose of this role is to lead and direct the communications and engagement strategy across a multi-site commercial organisation.

 

Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities and will include:-

Devising, defining and implementing a business aligned communications strategy.

 

Creating and delivering communication plans that increase employee engagement and positively influence internal employer brand.

Planning and co-ordinating communication initiatives or campaigns for significant events such as organisational announcements and regular company communications days.

Drafting complex and/or sensitive communications for a range of channels, ensuring that messages are clear, consistent and aligned with the business strategy.

Reviewing the effectiveness of existing communications channels and activities.

Ownership of the internal staff engagement survey and responsibility for other internal feedback mechanisms to ensure a one company approach to employee focused communications.

Providing advice, guidance and direction to key stakeholders in order to determine their communication requirements 

To be successsful you will have experience of:

 

Defining communications frameworks and strategies in a corporate environment

Working for a large national business and being comfortable working in a complex matrix environment.

Highly adaptable with the ability to think strategically.

Devising tactical plans which have improved internal communications, engagement and employer brand.

Influencing and managing internal clients.

Working under pressure, managing many and varied project deadlines.
