A vacancy exists working for one of the UKs leading accountancy firms.
The role requires the individual to work across the Watford and Birmingham offices:
- Working with the Practice Development Manager in Birmingham and providing business development support to the Corporate Finance and Restructuring and Recovery Partners
- Being the main marketing contact for the Birmingham office
- Providing Business Development support to the Corporate Sector in Watford
- Provide business development support, advice and coaching to Partners
- Run effective targeting programmes and campaigns
- Liaise closely with the Client Care and Information Specialists to ensure a co-ordinated and effective approach to marketing
- Liaise with the OMP and key Partners to agree the marketing plan
- Project manage external communications including seminars, PR, mailings and telemarketing in conjunction with the client development specialist
- Assess internal communication needs and work with Partners to achieve them
- Ensure the office is reporting effectively on its marketing activity.
The role is within the Central Region's Business Development team and will require flexibility to tackle other sectors and travel to other offices as required.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Promote best practice and project manage tenders
· Keep a handle on the sales pipeline and 'encourage' Partners to create, follow-up and record leads
· Provide business development input into the regional and office plans
· Track and measure the success of business development including conducting tender debriefs
· Coach & motivate junior staff
· Assist in national development of business development processes and tools in conjunction with the business development specialists around the country
· Act as key point of contact for the Birmingham office marketing
