As a world leading manufacturer, our client works with a range of customers on a global scale to produce all their fluoropolymer coating needs, operating at the forefront of their industry. They are now looking to recruit a European Product Marketing Person to join their successful team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with proven marketing experience to join a leading business. Though office-based, the role will involve some international travel.
As the European Product Marketing Person you will be responsible for providing assistance to Regional Sector Managers and supporting a range of promotional activities that are specifically related to Europe.
This is a varied and challenging role that will require your proven marketing experience. In this position you will be responsible for developing and implementing all marketing plans and assisting with market research by conducting research into competitors, target markets, and potential countries. You will also be required to attend trade shows and you will update information on the databases.
Additionally, as the European Product Marketing Person you will assist with product launches and marketing literature. This will involve chasing press releases, following the product launch template and working with managers to ensure success. You will also get involved in putting together mail shots, email alerts, and postcard updates, and contacting magazines to place campaigns.
To succeed in this position you must have solid marketing experience, preferably from within European marketing or product marketing.
Though not an essential requirement, candidates with marketing qualifications (such as CIM) or those working towards such qualifications would be preferred. Fluency in another European Language would also be beneficial.
