Account Manager PR - up to £30k pa - Bracknell, Berkshire
A technology PR agency that delivers high-impact media and analyst relations campaigns for technology and telecoms businesses in the UK and Europe are now looking to appoint a PR Account Manager to join their client services team.
Main responsibilities will include:
Media Skills
You should be able to utilise all relevant tools in the agency to create media lists, feature track, write and distribute press material and follow up distribution with journalists as well as manage and implement agreed media campaigns with minimal supervision. This includes all aspects of media contact, interviews and writing of material.
You will have a clear network of media contacts and evidence of proactive contact from journalists. You should be capable of defining creative media campaigns to meet the strategic needs of the client and of defining communications strategy to meet the Marketing objectives of a client.
Client Skills
Able to deal with client contact in an effective and efficient manner. With regular day to day contact with your clients you shoudl be able to quickly identify issues and opportunities to strengthen the client relationship with minimal supervision, so the ability to manage and drive client relationships is essential.
Management
You will need to effectively prioritise individual tasks to ensure all agreed activity is delivered, capable of prioritise all resources involved and coach staff to both deliver on client requirements and help staff to develop new skills and motivate them to achieve successful delivery of campaigns
New Business
Ability to identify new business opportunities and successfully propose PR campaigns that deliver profitable business to the agency. You will be confident at creating campaign proposals to increase current client satisfaction and fee revenue, while delivering an agreed plan on time and on budget.
