This is an imperative role that requires a true sales professional ideally with web design or web development sales experience or experience of winning bespoke high valued projects with major corporations or the public sector. With a fantastic portfolio and an enviable reputation for quality their major clients won include the major retailers, e-tailers, public service departments and commercial organisations. They now need a sales leader to help oversee the business growth and be the Managing Director designate in the absence of the founding director. Having grown by providing exceptionally high quality sites, developed by some of the best programmers, coders and developers in the sector, they secure business by providing 'big agency' quality sites at great value. Driven by the desire to always delight customers by developing "brilliant sites" the company has a high ethical streak and prides itself on delivering exceptional service on time and within budget.
As the role is taking the company to their next business level you will be an accomplished and experienced sales leader that is able to introduce new ideas, new systems and have true business development qualities and an instinct for seeking new business opportunities. Having secured fantastic case studies and testimonials you will be tasked with securing higher valued projects with major organisations and the public sector. This is a highly autonomous role within a business that is open to ideas and is very self aware and knows that to grow to their next level they need sales expertise in the shape of a Sales Director. As a member of the Senior Management Team you will be given the control over all sales and marketing activities and have significant say in the direction of the business.
Their existing 'sales machine' includes significant lead generation through their own site, PPC campaigns and other marketing campaigns which typically generates 4-5 qualified leads per week. With the immediate budget to hire a Sales Executive you will be tasked with overseeing their development in closing smaller business freeing you to strategically target bigger and more profitable complex business. Therefore, you will have experience in setting a sales strategy to win major corporate and public sector business and be well versed in bids and tender processes, writing winning proposals and leading a team to victorious bids.
You will be tenacious yet consultative with a stable career history, a credible persona and the gravitas to win 'big ticket' projects.
