An experienced Assistant Publishing Manager is required to provide comprehensive support to the Publishing Manager in the management, production and delivery of learning material to thousands of students, ensuring highest standards of quality and timeliness. You will have responsibility for the editing of new and existing course modules, following established publishing and proofreading procedures.
You will have a sound understanding of editorial and production processes having gained experience within education or academic publishing. You will also need a strong customer service orientation, together with excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. You will preferably have knowledge of QuarkXPress and Illustrator, and have successfully completed a recognised proofreading and editing training programme.
In return, you will spend at least three months providing support in one of the regions leading education institutes developing valuable skills and experience to complement your already extensive skill set.
