Our client is an award winning housing organisation providing homes and services to over 20,000 people in Greater Manchester. Their mission is "to create fantastic places to live and enjoy life and theyre constantly striving to achieve this through the work that they do.
They are currently looking to recruit a Sales & Marketing Manager to ensure the effective management of the sales team and ensure the appropriate marketing of all properties for sale or intermediate rent housing products, in order to maximise income and successfully sell or let homes.
Presenting and marketing a broad portfolio of properties, youll also take an active part in the development process, including preparation of sales appraisals, marketing strategies and budgets for current and proposed developments. You will liaise with the PR and Marketing teams with regards to launching new housing for sale/market rental products and determining individual sales strategies for each new development project and investigate new methods of reaching potential customers, including website information, use of virtual reality technology, email campaigns and working with other sales teams from partner RSLs or local authorities.
Candidates for this position must have a background in sales/marketing or the private rental market with a proven track record of achieving targets and managing and motivating a diverse team. Previous budget management experience and knowledge of the political and legislative influences which may affect service delivery are key skills to be successful within this role. You will have the ability to take a leading role in the sales and allocation process and lead and monitor your colleagues performance and implement change where necessary.
Excellent IT skills and the ability to understand and develop new systems are essential and our client would be particularly interested to hear from people employed in the private house building sector.
