An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to start immediately within this national organisation, for a period of at least three months.
The successful applicant will support business development and stakeholder relationships within their geographical patch including engagement with internal management and external stakeholders.
The overall purpose of the role is to support the Regional Head of Business Development in ensuring that the organisation enjoys a positive working relationship with all related divisions and individual departments., subsequently increasing income through the maximisation of service contract opportunities.
Core aspects of the role include:
- Engagement with internal management and stakeholders
- Marketing services to secure income for the organisation
- Securing regional implementation of agreed new services and developments
- Development, alongside national business development team, of the national service portfolio. My client is seeking a candidate with...
- a strong background in Sales and/or Business Development
- experience in creating and writing tenders
- a proven track record in winning business and maintaining contracts
- previous public sector experience (a distinct advantage)
- knowledge of implementing marketing strategy
- a real 'self-starter'
- experience of working autonomously to strict deadlines and targets Start date: latest Monday 23rd September
