Head of Practice / Director (market research consultancy)
Salary: £60,000 - £100,000 + bonuses

This is an exceptional opportunity for an exceptional entrepreneurial senior research candidate at the Director's level who wants an opportunity to run their business but doesn't want to set up their own company!
An international, business research consultancy, specialising in providing pragmatic insight which enables their clients to make sound, commercial decisions are now looking for an exceptional senior level candidate to build their own practice within the existing business. They are especially interested in candidates who have got a proven track record / experience in the following areas of research: Telecoms/IT, Healthcare, Public Sector or Professional Services. You will be involved in winning business, designing research projects, managing projects & people & delivering insightful & credible research solutions. Hence a trough understanding of research design is essential as is project management experience in a research agency environment.
Most of the work they do is directed at understanding business-related matters, which usually entails examining and consulting sources throughout the value chain, depending on where the specific issues lie. Whilst they are a UK research company, a significant proportion of their work is international in focus and their team of researchers and analysts reflects this.
The company is continuously growing through selective acquisitions hence it's a really exciting time to join.
Ideal Candidate:
·You must have a significant track record of working at the market research agency & a wealth of experience working on ad-hoc projects
·Ideal background is a mixture of market research agency & client sides
·Knowledge of a mixture of quantitative & qualitative methodologies is essential as well as proven ability to design research projects
·Experience in research project management role alongside an ability to analyse and interpret market research data
·You must have an established track record of winning market research projects (writing winning proposals, successful pitches etc)
·Industry expertise is a must as well as contacts within client organizations (ideally healthcare, public sector, IT/Telecoms, professional services or financial)
·Analytical skills and ability to see a big picture are the key
·The role would suit a candidate who is entrepreneurial in nature and has an appetite for maintaining & growing client relationships through consultation, partnership & insight
·You must have a significant line management experience & strong people management skills
·Energetic & engaging personality is essential in order to develop excellent rapport with clients
·You must be educated to a degree level gained at the top University
