To be responsible for sourcing content, writing copy for, editing and proofing major Academic publications and to provide editorial support as required for other internally produced documents where required.
To develop detailed marketing plans with the Head of Marketing to promote the company as a conservatoire both nationally and internationally, encompassing a range of activities that include print, website, direct marketing, press and PR.
To manage marketing budgets with the Head of Marketing, monitoring progress against agreed targets and develop systems to show value of campaigns and return on investment.
To work with the Head of Marketing in developing specialist Academic marketing and recruitment tools in line with the company brand and the objectives set out in the Marketing Strategy.
To place advertising to promote the marketing and recruitment strategies, negotiating within agreed budgets and creating original copy as required.
To plan market research and focus groups and their evaluation to inform the future development of the Academic marketing and recruitment strategies.
To work with the International Officer and Head of Marketing to help achieve overseas recruitment targets.
To work with the Communications Manager and Head of Marketing to help create a plan of Press and PR activity to promote the Academic marketing and recruitment strategies.
To work with the Communications Manager and Head of Marketing in developing the Academic pages of the website and to be responsible for the regular updating of information on those pages.
To monitor recruitment statistics, refining tactical marketing planning as appropriate
To plan exhibition material and identify and commission photographic material to promote the marketing and recruitment strategies.
To play a full and active part in the work of the Marketing team, and other wide groups to support the marketing and recruitment strategies.
To undertake all other duties as required which reasonably fall within the scope of the role, taking into account the grade, skills and qualifications of the post-holder.
