Job Description

Communication Officer needed to join vibrant team.

Working within a public sector organization with a focus on traffic congestion, you will be interested in people and the environment, also have an understanding of the Government and local affairs.

As a marketing and communications professional you will be able to provide examples of successfully completed projects and similar campaigns in previous posts.

It would be desirable if applicants have knowledge of transport legislations along with experience of behavioral change projects or the health sector.

Initially the post is an interim role of 6 months and will involve project seasonal work.

Main elements of the post will include:

Implementation of marketing communication plans, through articles and updating of topics on website.
PR - Liaising with press to promote the positive impacts on the reduction of car usage, and the creating of news stories.
Looking at Behavioral changes in the community and analyzing of the results.
Engaging in community and stakeholder groups.
Creating and implementing marketing campaigns, with a see through to report on progress within the community relating to travel plans.
