Role Purpose:
To implement national strategies and activities at a regional level, driving GP referrals and consultant recruitment and retention.
To develop local product and service initiatives in response to market conditions
To deliver a local marketing plan driving revenue growth with a focus on self pay patients.
To contribute to the development and implementation of the company marketing plans
Key Accountabilities:
· To develop and implement regional marketing plans to deliver volume, revenue and profit growth for the region including the development of new product and services to respond to the local market needs
· To develop market and product information and selling tools for Doctor Liaison Managers
· To formulate marketing strategies using evaluation of previous years' plans to drive regional performance
· To provide the Marketing Operations Manager with regional advertising & promotional plans for approval and to implement agreed plans
· To monitor and analyse performance & recommend changes to improve future potential
· To implement regional & local communication strategies maximising local PR opportunities and developing the profile of the hospitals within the region
· The implement the roll out of new products and services in line with corporate guidelines
· To design and source point of sale materials maximising the use of centrally produced templates and ensuring sharing of best practise across the group.
· To act as brand equity guardian to ensure the integrity of the brand positioning
To develop effective matrix relationships across the sales, marketing and operations organisation

· GP and consultant recruitment and retention

Specific Knowledge / Qualifications:
·Many years Broad marketing experience gained in healthcare, pharmaceuticals or consumer service sector. At least 3 as manager.
·An in-depth knowledge of the full marketing mix, with experience in developing marketing plans, managing PR, and press campaigns
·Experience working with GPs and consultants a distinct advantage
·Degree educated with a marketing qualification would be preferred
You will also need to demonstrate:
·Excellent internal and external communication skills with experience of dealing at all levels
·Experience in working in a matrix management environment
·Experience of delivering presentations to different audiences
·The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines in a fast moving, ambiguous environment with exciting growth plans
·Strong project and time management skills with great attention to detail
·A high degree of customer focus with commercial and financial awareness
