PR Account Manager
Oxford

Our client is an award winning marketing agency with an impressive range of B2B, B2C and automotive clients. They are now looking to recruit a PR Account Manager to join their team.
This is the ideal opportunity for an experienced PR or Communications professional to develop their skills whilst working for a leading and reputable agency.
Working as part of a small team, in this role you will be responsible for providing an excellent standard of PR account management to clients, using all forms of media and communication to build, maintain, and manage the reputation and effective promotion of their organisation. This role will require some travel to client sites.
Reporting to a PR Account Director, as a PR Account Manager you will:
- Use all forms of media and communication to build, maintain and manage the reputation and effective promotion of your Client's organisation
- Provide an excellent standard of PR account management to your Client/s through effective organisational, planning and interpersonal skills, focusing on first class service delivery
- Develop long-term successful relationships with your Clients to encourage client satisfaction, retention and growth
- Have a thorough understanding of your Clients' objectives and collaboratively work with your team, journalists and relevant publications to deliver first class PR campaigns that are delivered on time and to budget
- Help to develop annual and quarterly PR campaign plans for your Clients
You may also have the opportunity to contribute to client growth and new business activity.
This role will also involve driving the development and effective deployment of the team to achieve excellent results and a positive team spirit.
To succeed as the PR Account Manager you must have previous experience in a PR or Communications role, and ideally agency experience. Applicants with strong client side experience (automotive or B2B) will also be considered. You will also need to demonstrate strong writing skills, a good media relations background, and good client-facing skills.
A degree (or equivalent) would be beneficial to your application, as would a CIPR qualification but these are not essential.
