They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Sales and Marketing Officer to join the team based at their centre in Coventry. They are looking for a highly organised and systematic Sales and Marketing Officer to research, market and develop successful sales to ultimately maximise enrolment onto specific training programmes.
You will be required to contact local employers, businesses and related networks by telephone in order to identify appropriate work placements for learners and to build and sustain successful relationships with these companies.
To be successful in this role you should have experience of selling and promotional activities ideally with some experience of work placements and / or a background in a related field (eg recruitment agency). Strong networking and oral and written communication skills are essential for this role coupled with the ability to approach and engage the interest of learners, often from socially or educationally disadvantaged backgrounds.
The ability to build a rapport with customers both face to face and over the telephone is key within this role. You must be self motivated, enthusiastic and exceptionally determined and willing and able to represent their company to the highest standard. In return, our client will provide you with the training and support that you need in order to flourish in your career with them.
