Our client is a highly successful, small company that provides high level training, specialised furniture and a wide range of educational resources, books and toys to local authorities, schools and nurseries within the specialist field of early years education (0-6yrs). The resources are specialised, high quality items which are sold in a range of ways; through a busy retail environment, by mail order and in large contracts.
The company currently have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager with a high level of commercial knowledge and a proven track record of developing sales in a small business environment, to join their newly established Head Office in Halifax.
Reporting to the Directors, this is a senior post with responsibility for leading the development of a strong marketing strategy that secures continued success and achieves growth results. The main responsibilities include strategy planning and implementation, brand development, PR and awareness campaigns, active customer communication, direct mail and the development of a new e-commerce site.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent in Marketing or a related subject (Business, E-commerce etc) and will have worked in a similar role previously, with experience of account management for or within a supply chain / retail driven industry. You will be highly motivated and keen to see results, having a thorough understanding of customer and marketing dynamics, a strong design eye and proven project administration skills. Being an enthusiastic, confident communicator, capable of developing strong working relationships is essential.
