PR Account Manager (Public Relations)
London SW1
£25,000 - £30,000+ DOE Plus Healthcare, Season Ticket Loan and Fringe Benefits

Our client is an award-winning, independent consultancy with a frank, challenging and honest approach to PR. Recently recognised in the Pathfinders Media Employer of the year awards; their team is made up of dynamic and passionate individuals. An opportunity has now arisen for a PR Account Manager to join them.

Applying your proven experience, as a PR Account Manager your role will involve both existing client management and some business development. Day to day you will be responsible for managing the delivery of PR campaigns for your clients, whilst ensuring work is strategically correct, on brief and on budget.

Your key duties will include:

- acting as the major point of contact for your clients
- managing how the client is presented and perceived in the media, and delivering an effective media relations service
- conducting review meetings with clients, and preparing, structuring and leading all client communications/meetings
- developing and sustaining relationships with key journalists
- managing and delegating key activities of junior staff

To succeed as the PR Account Manager you must have solid experience in a similar position from within a B2B or agency environment. Already armed with an established portfolio of media contacts, you will also need to demonstrate excellent writing and communication skills, and great teamworking skills, with the desire to climb the career ladder.

Above all, you will need to demonstrate your innovative and ambitious approach, your highly organised way of working, and your creative and target-driven mind set.
