This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an information professional to drive the strategic development of the Association`s information and communication activities and to develop and implement an effective knowledge management strategy.
You must have the ability and gravitas to win support at all levels internally and externally, and an appreciation of the dedication and commitment of all those involved in every aspect of our work.
Reporting to the Chief Executive you will exercise both corporate and functional responsibility towards the ongoing management and future development of the Association.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience and high level expertise in knowledge and information management
Ability to formulate policy in the fields
of information management and
communications
Ability to planand balance a high
workload and meet deadlines whilst
running multiple projects with differing
requirements and timescales
Ability to deal effectively with
unforeseen changes and obstacles
and adjust plans accordingly
Able to demonstrate a sound
understanding of strategic
communications combined with the
ability to manage effective and timely
delivery
Proven track record in PR/media, and
public relations and a wide range of
communication skills
Proven track record in developing
effective and proactive external
communications strategies
