Maternity contract based in the City Centre working for a not for profit organisation.
Great role for someone with in house press officer experience. You will be working across three main areas:
1) Proactive PR - developing good relationships with internal contacts in order to be able to best promote the organisation and have a good selection of positive news stories in line with strategic communication plans. You will be working with a PR agency who will be in the main writing the copy and selling in the stories to the media. You will also be required to write releases to send to the PR agency.
2) Reactive- you will take calls from the media and draft statements in response.
3) Stakeholder engagement- Quarterly newsletter and other ad-hoc appropriate communication.
Role is starting the first week in September so you must be available. I am looking to speak to suitable candidates immediately.
