Job Description

This public sector organisation is looking to recruit a Policy & Communications Manager to develop and put in place systems which enable the organisation to handle high level policy documentation in a coherent high quality way covering for example ministerial briefings, parliamentary questions and responses to Government Departments. Key deliverables include putting in place a system that provides the organisation with effective storage and communication of these documents, a base set of presentations and briefings that provide the organisation with templates for future work and in house training and support to run the system. It is essential that you have good IT skills covering sharepoint, PowerPoint, work and other Microsoft products. You must have good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others, the ability to write concisely and accurately and the ability to organise and co-ordinate complex processes. You must be self motivated, resilient and results oriented, resourceful, full of initiative and good at problem solving, especially in difficult situations as well as system design and knowledge of effective systems.
