Key Accountabilities
- To develop new leads and to develop and increase the pool of new sponsors.
- To develop relationships with commercial organisations that fund initiatives outside their normal business activities and to secure funds for sponsorship.
- To create and develop compelling proposals as required.
- To manage specific existing accounts as required.
-To work with the Development Managers in the implementation of the sponsorship & fundraising strategy.
- To work in partnership with the Conference team to schedule and organise sponsorship and fundraising events.
- To liaise with the Marketing and Communications team to ensure pertinent and effective publicity for sponsors and to maximise PR opportunities.
- To generate revenues for a range of varied education and corporate events and initiatives.
- To assist with maintenance of parts of the Trust's websites with the support of the Communications team.
Person Specification
Essential
- Previous experience in a fundraising and/or sponsorship role.
- Evidence of sourcing funds from a wide variety of commercial enterprises.
- Excellent ICT skills, including use of MS Office (MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel), the Internet, email and databases.
Desirable
- Prior experience in working in an educational fundraising and/or sponsorship role.
- Familiarity with specialist school initiative or previous experience of working in an educational context.
