A dynamic, market leading and globally recognised telecommunications brand presently seeks an online search specialist to take ownership of one of the biggest channels for driving online sales. This channel is presently responsible for 40% of online connections. The role will involve a variety of both paid and natural search giving you the chance to command a significant budget and commercial responsibility. You will:
·Own the strategy to develop and grow both the paid search (PPC ) and Natural Search (SEO)
·Be abreast of latest PPC and SEO best practice theories
·Own an annual budget of £6 million
·Manage spend between partners on a monthly basis to ensure connection targets are hit as effectively as possible.
·Manage duplication between partners and other channels to ensure effective ROI
·Be the direct technical contact in first instance for all technical queries responsible for managing upwards and across to relevant internal and external teams
Experience Required:
·A clear understanding of planning and implementation of strategic direction of PPC and SEO channels
·In depth knowledge of the PPC and SEO best practice
·Strong analytical skills - with a strong emphasis on identifying trends and producing recommendations as a result
·Working in/with large companies due to the size of the campaigns that you will be required to manage
·Confidence when managing potentially problematic agencies and at a high level
·Strong commercial and financial acumen
·Total understanding of Search Engine Marketing
·Proven success at managing multi million pound acquisition marketing budgets and achieving agreed targets
·Qualified to degree level
