We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Communications Planner to join our team in Ealing. Reporting to the Head of Planning, you will become an industry expert on developing data led communication strategies and plans to help Tesco further develop, innovate and execute the Tesco Clubcard Loyalty scheme and other associated communication programme (Clubs, Statement, coupon at till, local mailings etc).
Key responsibilities include:
• Develop retail category communication plans to include targeting, offer and messaging strategies.
• Provide direction on targeting to ensure relevance and help to maintain and improve our participation and redemption levels.
• Provide clarity and direction for creative work
• Act as brand guardian for creative work on Tesco to ensure consistency
• Provide creative strategy and communication guidance for dunnhumby Retail Media (dRM) new media propositions to help optimise the media estate for Tesco
• Create and drive a strategic insight plan to ensure Comms & Media and dRM communications programmes are optimised.
• Identify and develop business opportunities
• Build effective relationships with key stakeholders
You will have:
• Extensive communication strategy / planning experience in a client or direct marketing agency
• Ability to think strategically and go beyond the client’s brief to provide holistic thinking to problems
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to persuade and motivate
• A passion for creativity.
• Commercial acumen, to develop strategies that have clear business benefit
• Ability to co-ordinate multiple projects
• Degree or equivalent
