Sales & Admin Assistant / Customer Service (P/T) Nottingham £10K

Position: Sales and Administration Assistant
Location: Nottingham
Position: Part time 23 28 hours per week
Salary: £7,176- £10,080 Basic

COMPANY:
Our client offers Self Storage Solutions to it's customers throughout the UK. They can assist with removal, packing materials, insurance, and of course self storage requirements.

ROLE:
To support the Store Manager in taking a customer focused and commercial approach to the running of the store, with the aim of maximising turnover and productivity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) To ensure that all customers are handled in a calm and professional manner.
b) To conduct regular analysis of competitor activity and that all staff are aware of competitor pricing policies and services offered.
c) To ensure all customer complaints are handled in a professional and timely manner whilst maintaining sensitivity to the customer and the Company.
d) To drive the conversion of prospects into customers.
e) To actively promote the sale of merchandise.
f) To promote the services of both the facility and the Company.
g) To maintain and develop the facility marketing database.
h) To identify and address local marketing opportunities.
i) To reconcile store's customer accounts on a daily and monthly basis.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
a) Sales / Customer service background. Ideally within the hospitality, retail or self storage industries.
b) Confident, articulate, well presented professional.
c) Accurate administration
d) Articulate good standard of written English - report writing.
e) Creative - understands the impact of good marketing.
f) Good IT Skills.

PLEASE NOTE: Although it is not frequent you will need to be available for call outs/out of hours needs/facility cover when required. Own transport will also be necessary

You may have experience in the following roles: Retail Sales, Administration, Restaurant Manager, Bar Manager, Duty Manager, Retail Manager, Deputy Manager, Retail Team Leader, Sales Executive, Hire Manager, Unit Manager, Customer Service, Marketing Executive, Assistant Manager, Account Manager, Customer Service Executive, Administration, Administrator etc.
