Assistant Product Manager North Oxfordshire salary c£23,000 Ref 5858
A unique opportunity has arisen for a confident and creative Assistant Product Manager to join our client, a well recognised brand and a leader in their industry. The purpose of the role is to work with the Brand Manager to develop and implement a full product and marketing strategy for the company's product range in the UK. Key responsibilities will involve:
·Possessing a good working knowledge of full product range;
·Maintaining product and company literature, making recommendations where necessary for new materials;
·Developing annual marketing plans with the Brand manager;
·Implementing UK marketing activity and managing external agencies as appropriate;
·Liaise with key trade publications to understand timelines and deadlines etc;
·Ensuring the sales team have all required support and resources
·Monitoring competitor activity where possible.
This exciting and challenging role requires an existing product manager, or someone with the ability to take on this role, and experience in B2B marketing is essential. B2C experience, while not essential, would be valued. Excellent verbal and written skills are essential, as are strong organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and pro-active, and looking forward to working with a friendly team, who place a great deal of importance upon the training and development of their staff.
