Job Description

This is a unique opportunity within this well known retailer for a Customer Marketing Manager. Responsible for developing the strategy and communications plans for acquiring, nurturing and retaining small, medium business customers, as well as managing the customer base and programme administration. This hands-on manager will work with two marketing executives, a marketing analyst and two customer services associates to execute the campaigns.

Responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Marketing in producing a programme of customer communications which will support the brand, drive revenue and reduce churn.
- Work with the Retail Marketing Manager in managing agency relationships and internal resource.
- Implement new communications channels aimed at increasing response, delivering best customer experience and get greater ROI on our communications.
- Full budget management and ensure best financial returns.
- Pilot and implement new programmes, new media and a range of offers in line with our brand positioning, delivering high quality, cost effective and innovative solutions.
- Production and development of appropriate marketing campaigns including sms, mms, direct mail and email on time and in budget.
- Identify and oversee the development of localised marketing deliverables and regional marketing budget to deliver results within approved resources.

Requirements:
- A proactive self-starter with a good ability to communicate and manage multiple projects.
- Technical knowledge of data management and handling.
- Proactive, creative, strong focus on attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills: verbal, written and presentation.
- Experience in leading and managing a team.

This is a senior and influential role in which you’ll help to shape the marketing strategy in terms of proposition, customer development and partnership alliances to help drive the overall business objectives.
